I have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating the complexities of anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and family or peer challenges. Whether I’m working with a child finding their voice, a couple seeking reconnection, or an adult navigating a major life transition, I am deeply invested in your unique story.

Makeda Irving
DCP, MACP, RP
Makeda is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CPRO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She brings a wealth of specialized expertise to our team. Makeda holds a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and a Doctorate Degree in Counselling Psychology. Her approach is rooted in a deep understanding of human connection, with advanced training in Narrative Therapy, CBT, and Trauma-Focused care.

With a career built in both children’s mental health agencies and private practice, Makeda is a skilled partner for couples, individuals, and families. She is particularly passionate about supporting families in transition through evidence-based parenting programs. Makeda is currently welcoming new clients for in-person, video, and telephone sessions
Akua Parham
MSW, RSW
Life can often feel overwhelming, and reaching out for support is a courageous step towards positive change. Whether you are managing daily stress, navigating significant life transitions, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I am dedicated to helping you achieve meaningful and lasting growth.
With over 20 years of experience as a Registered Social Worker, I have worked extensively with children, youth, individuals, and families. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, grounded in respect for each person’s unique story. I practice from a client-centered and anti-oppressive framework, fostering a safe and nonjudgmental environment where healing and transformation happen at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I have specialized expertise in supporting individuals and families through fertility challenges and the adoption process. I work closely with birth parents, adoptive parents, and adoptees to navigate the emotional and relational complexities that often accompany these journeys.
